I set aside the amount of money the blackmailer demanded. But after thinking it over for a while, it felt like such a waste to pay someone who was trying to scam me.
Even though what he said might make sense, the possibility that his goal was to scam me could also be true.
Damn it! This blackmailer has thrown all my plans into disarray. I should’ve already been at the hospital to take care of everything before actually leaving this place.
However, this is also important. If I can’t get proof of the fraud and manipulation committed by JD, then I have to be prepared in case something happens to me at any moment.
