Sebastian's question gave me a glimmer of hope. Without realizing it, I smiled and breathed a sigh of relief.
Sebastian was still flipping through the file in his hand. He seemed to be considering something before making a final decision. He then put the file back on the table before finally speak.
"If I buy your shares in JD Company and you still deal with and manage the company or interfere with anything related to it, I won't discuss this anymore," he said, which took me aback for a moment as I tried to slowly digest his words.
I definitely didn't want to deal with anything related to JD after this. In fact, I couldn't wait to get away from Jasper. Staying by his side, carrying all the things that reminded me of him, made me even more in pain and hard to forget
