I’ve checked my phone over and over, but there’s still no word from Jasper. That means the event isn’t over yet, and I’m just standing here like an i***t; waiting for him.
I still can’t forget how Jasper left me and his mother at the restaurant while he prioritized that woman, as if she’d truly turned his life around for the better.
I’m not sure Xesha really managed to convince Sebastian Le Roux—that cold, picky guy—to work with JD. It’s probably just the same old nonsense she always uses to lure Jasper back to her.
