Jasper contacted Dr. Avery, who turned out to be unavailable, but she asked another doctor to come immediately to treat my wound. I repeatedly said that I was a doctor myself, and that it seemed excessive to call a doctor just to examine such a small wound.
But that's Jasper. In certain situations, he can be overly protective, but in other moments, he's too indifferent. And I'm the type of woman who will give up everything when I love someone too much, which makes me look foolish and naive.
That's what I did when I was his girlfriend, his fiancée, and even after I lost my trust in him, it was still difficult to forget him.
