The car ride to the Cinema felt unreal, like I was watching my life through a glass window. It reminded me of the time Daniel won the basketball tournament, and I snuck out of my house just to sit beside him as we drove to the beach. The sunlight danced off the dashboard, and I stared out the window, letting the fresh air embrace me.
