Zane looked at the floor. Obsidian. Volcanic glass. Brittle. "Wren," Zane shouted over the ringing in his ears. "The Shard! Give it to me!" "What?" "The Purity Shard! Throw it!" Wren didn't argue. She tossed the glowing crystal. Zane caught it with his left hand. The Purity light burned his skin, reacting to his Reaper nature, but he ignored the agony. He looked at the Prophet. "You like sound?" Zane yelled. "Let's make some noise." He didn't throw the Shard at the Prophet. He drove it into the floor. He used Soul Forge to create a massive, heavy hammer of shadow around his fist, encasing the Purity Shard in the centre like a diamond core. He channelled every ounce of his hatred, every pound of his Dead Weight, and smashed the hammer into the centre of the obsidian tunnel. CRAC
