“Ohh Zane, you’re back!” My mom let out, making turn.
It was already late and I didn’t expect her to still be up. I was going to just quietly make my way upstairs and get some rest before I suddenly heard her voice.
“Yeah, I’m back. I didn’t even see you there, I thought you’d be sleeping already. Why are you still up though?” I asked.
“I was just about to go upstairs too. Please remind Lyra to come down for her dinner. She said she was just going to freshen up and come but she hasn’t since then. I don’t want her starving herself so tell her to come eat something, even if it’s just little.” She chimed in and I nodded.
“Okay mom, goodnight.” I said and then made my way upstairs.
