Ariella I woke up before dawn, finding my small pouch of herbs I'd collected while out with Eli and the riders. Rydon had shown me how to roll them with willowbark and honeydew sap, though lightly scolded me for even picking the plants and it hadn't stopped him for picking his own. I used the fireplace to lit the cigarette and ducked out to my balcony, knowing I'd probably be punished for using it, but I didn't really care. Alistair had taken another She-Wolf to bed - then had come to me, expecting me- I growled at the thoughts, my stomach still a dull ache from his brutality when I'd denied him. The herbs I'd picked would help, both with my pain and my panicked Wolf who abandoned me every moment the King was around. I didn't blame her - I just wish she could take me wherever
