Sebastian “Heath! Don’t!” The cave trembled, thundering stone and crystals shattered around us as Heath reached for the final two stones buried within the wall, the first stone pulsing against his exposed chest, blood and dirt becoming slashes of black against his skin. His hand shook, his voice a gritted shout as he pulled the second stone free. “It’s the only way!” He roared, his voice deeper and vibrating with the collapsing mountain around us. His eyes flashed to us, his brothers, injured and panting as we tried to move the rock and debris from our path, trying to get to him.
