Tai tried rubbing his eyes to make sure that what he was seeing was true,he quickly made his way to her side but was a little cautious with every step he took,Qingyue indeed had means to secretly follow him into the mythical ruins,but Tai had sime doubt,since Qingyue will never leave him uninformed."Tai,How am I here,what is this place",said Qingyue in a some what confused state."I was just back home a few minutes ago,how did I end up here".Tai quickly realized that something was up,he had never seen such a thing happen in his entire life,Qingyue gave him an observing stare,but Tai was a little deep in thought and didn't notice this."The Mythical ruins battle challenge begins now",a cold but deep sounding voice came from all coners when Boom!,the ground suddenly broke open and a stone pillar began to rise from it's depths,it stood fully erect,before being surrounded by a white smooth platform,and a golden looking arm band was placed on top of the flat surfaced pillar,"Begin",called out the cold voice as the entire world began to vibrate,different kinds of thorny plants began to sprout from the ground,they looked as if they were alive while they made twisting motions,Tai was first stunned but his face turned stone cold by what happened next,The strange vines shot straight for his head,the vine was extremely fast,but Tai was much more faster,the moon slayer sword suddenly appeared in his left hand while he bent his upper body backwards before unleashing a strike from the side,cutting the Vine into two,it wasn't over though,more vines continued to sprout and shoot towards him and Qingyue,but Tai kept on slashing with the moon slayer sword,not letting the vines get to them,puff!!!,Blood spurted out in front of Tai as his shoulder got pierced by a nearby vine,he cut the vine into two but had no time to tend to his wound,he would have been able to dodge that attack,but it would have came into contact with Qingyue instead,Qingyue who had her back against Tai's,quickly turned around,"are you okay",said Qingyue before letting out a loud scream,her leg had been caught and wrapped bu the thorny vine,it began to pull her towards the pit it had specially dug for her,Tai held unto Qingyue for dear life,but he knew that all this would just cause her more pain,cracking sounds began to emerge from Qingyue's ankle as the thorns began to slowly extend, reaching deeper into her bones,she let out a loud scream as she tried her besy to endure the pain,Tai Quickly reached for the fallen moon slayer sword, stretching his arm foward with all his might,catching it before the a vine could pull it out of his range,he slashed down at the vine in Qingyue's leg,before pulling her up and placing her down on his back,he looked around and noticed that the pillar surrounded by the stone platform remained intact,he quickly made a run for that location,he hacked and cut every vine that came his way without pause,before making a beautiful leap and landing on the stone platform,the incoming vines began to wither before receding back to the ground,Tai firstly inspected Qingyue's wound,feeling quite sorry for her,Qingyue nodded her pale face at him, making her look a little cute,Tai gave off a sigh of relief,but he still secretly felt worried for her,he let her rest on the floor before looking towards the stone pillar in front of him,he reached his hand forward,trying to feel the golden arm band,it felt soft and warm,making it almost seem as if it wasn't made of metal,if Tai couldn't see the arm band right in front of his face,he would have thought he was touching human skin,he felt the arm band one last time before lifting his hand away, when suddenly,Tcha!!!,the golden arm band wrapped its Body against Tai's receding arm,Tai gave a low yell as he tried shaking the arm band off his hand,but he realized that it was totally impossible,he soon calmed down,realizing that the arm band had not disturbed or gave him any discomfort in the slightest,he was just about to get a closer look at the band when the cold mysterious voice suddenly called out again.

"Stage one,pass,stage two begins now".Vruum!!!,the surrounding space began to vibrate as the stone pillar got retracted,as Steps began to rise from the ground there were eight in number,and were purple in color,a deep ash but blackish looking orb floated at the top of the stairs,it gave off a faint glow,and the liquid body around the orb kept on moving about.Tai looked towards the stairs with interest,he had just realized a little of what waa going on,this was a test,and each test he won,he p got great rewards,he felt quite skeptical about the whole play out,but it was indeed true,He walked towards the stairs putting his rifht leg on the first step,Argh!!,Grunted ted Tai as he felt a sharp pain assault his senses,he tried taking his leg back but it stood fixated in place,obviously not budging,meaning hr had to walk it to the top,he was just about give in when a thought quickly came to his mind,he activate the Spirit cultivation method of the Ni Eye sutra to the Max,and felt the pressure from the first step dissolve a little,he then took a deep breath before putting his other leg on the first stair,he was now currently standing on the fist stair,and was surely bound to make another move.
