The service had come to an abrupt end a couple of years ago following an accident involving a milk float and a man dressed in a Santa suit (who had, the questioner explained, been taking part in a fun run at the time). Victoria smiled sweetly at the pensioner, telling her that she’d love to see the Community Bus re-established, and she knew just the person to make it happen.
