Little Bassington residents are drawing up battle plans to stop the construction of over 1,000 luxury homes on fields surrounding the village.
Plans tabled by Archangel Developments Ltd will be discussed tonight, in a public meeting to be held at the Village Hall. Representatives from the development company, along with local Councillor Robert Grainger, will be in attendance and residents will have the opportunity to scrutinise the proposals in detail.
But locals are already warning that they are ready to “throw down the gauntlet”, with one telling the Bassington Post:
