The ringing in my ears stopped. The buzzing at my core stopped.
“Dude, she f*****g creamed all over me.” Crow put my head in the crook between his neck and shoulder and stroked my hair. “You did good, Ellie.”
I relaxed in Crow’s warm embrace until my chest stopped heaving and I began to breathe normally. As soon as my breathing settled, I felt something warm and wet poke my lips.
