"How old?" Like them, vampires preferred staying hidden from humans. They could go for months without eating and when they did, they took just enough to sustain them. That way, no humans were hurt and they didn't run the risk of exposing themselves. If this one was killing them, it meant he was either newly turned or an old bastard who wanted to stir things up. Roman hoped he was the former. He'd be easier to deal with. The older vampires got, the stronger they were.
