Julian’s POV Kessler Tower, Zurich I sat back in my leather office chair, my eyes narrowing at a black velvet box Klaus had just placed on my desk. Inside lay an exclusive wedding invitation embossed with gold ink: Ryder Vance & Valerie Sterling. However, what made my assistant look so tense wasn't the prestigious names printed on it, but the dried blood stains and sharp shards of glass intentionally tucked over the expensive paper. A dramatic "opening message" from Victor Vance's son. I scoffed softly. An elegant, amused chuckle escaped my lips. Instead of feeling threatened, I found it highly entertaining. I pulled a silk pocket square from my chest pocket, using it to pinch the edge of the invitation so the filth wouldn't stain my hands, and dropped it casually into the trash can
