Sybille, Frank and Marius

Ashley Ashley stared at the alpha and his luna standing in the door. "It ... It was no ... Christopher attacked me!" she said. She knew, there was nothing good about being seen almost kissing with the mate of the alpha's daughter. "He what? To me it looked like you tried to kiss my daughter's mate!" The alpha said in his strong alpha voice. "He attacked me! I was provocative while questioning him about his relationship with your daughter. I would not stop until he grabbed me by my collar. I swear." Ashley lowered her head in submission. "Christopher!" The luna said with a shocked look. "Did you really attack her?" "Well... yes..." Christopher answered. "Well, you shouldn't be provocative when his mate is in a state like ..." The alpha wanted to finish his sentence as he was interrupted. "Christopher! This is not how we know you! As the mate of the alpha's daughter, you cannot just run around attacking people just because you got provoked!" the luna said with a stern look on her face. "This is not how we want to represent our pack! This goes against our guidelines and out of everyone in this room except for us, you should know that best!" she continued scolding Christopher. "Sybille, my love. He is just in as much agony as we are. Maybe even more. He should be allowed to make mistakes. I am sure he feels ashamed and sorry for letting his emotions take over." The alpha said, defending Christopher. Christopher looked at Ashley. "Yes of course. I am deeply sorry Ms. Green. I let my emotions take over. I hope you can accept my apology." He said looking genuinely concerned. Ashley was sure, the concerned look was not about what just had happened. He did not want to anger either the alpha or the luna. As she thought about what they just did. If they would have had more time, she was sure it would not only have been a kiss anyway. She blushed as Christopher was holding his hand towards her. Ashley took his hand. "Of course, ... I understand. I know how it feels when one's mate is in such a peculiar situation. Don't worry Mr. Reed." Ashley looked heartbroken. "Can I speak to you in private for a second Ashley?" Olav asked. As she nodded, Olav took his sunglasses off. "What do you think you are doing? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" Olav's voice sounded angry. "Well... I don't really know how it exactly happened. It just... I was caught in the heat of the moment." Ashley answered. "He is mated! Which is ..." Olav answered and looked at Christopher, who was now engaged into a conversation with the alpha and luna. "Where did his mark go?" Olav asked Ashley. "I... I didn't realize it was gone either until now..." Ashley thought. "We need to talk about this with Christopher. Something is not right. A Mark never disappears unless..." he sounded as if he did not want to finish his sentence. "Unless of the event of mutual rejection or the mate loses his life." Ashley finished. "I think it is time to have a chat with the alpha and luna. They are hiding something regarding Angelica. I am quite sure she is an Angel hybrid, which means..." Olav said. "...they can't be her parents." Ashley Answered. Olav Olav put his sunglasses back on. He turned to the alpha and luna. "Alpha, Luna..." he started. "Oh, alpha Frank and luna Sybille please. We think it is more personal." They said almost at the same time. "Okay... Alpha Frank, luna Sybille, can we please talk to you in private? I think it would help our investigation regarding on what has happened to your daughter." Olav said. Both nodded their heads. The alpha and luna took a chair and sat themselves down. "I don't mean to be rude, but I do have reason to believe that Angelica might not be your daughter..." Olav started, still standing. The alpha and luna looked each other in the eyes. Olav saw a tear forming in the eye of luna Sybille. Sybille stood up and walked towards the window. "It happened 22 years ago..." She started. "I've met my mate." She continued. "... And it was not me..." Alpha Frank added. Olav nodded his head. "Who was it?" He asked. "He was like you...Mr...." Luna Sybille tried to figure out his last name, but she did not know. "Olav is sufficient." Olav said and luna Sybille nodded. "Well, he was just like you Olav. An Angel." She continued. Olav's eyes widened in shock. "How could she know about angels?" He thought "But, as you of all people here might know, it was back in the time when Angels were the pray of black wizards." She looked on the floor. "One can only imagine how it must feel to be haunted like this Olav." She started crying a bit, as the alpha raised from his chair, walked to his luna and took her in his arms. "You must know, we were madly in love. He was my everything until I got pregnant with Angelica. When she was born, she was the most precious little thing I had. I was a proud mother." The luna now looked to her alpha with an apologetic look. "It is okay my darling. I know the story. You did nothing wrong. It is okay to be in love, never be ashamed of it. I know he was an amazing person because you loved him so incredibly much Sybille." The alpha said, giving his luna a kiss on her forehead. "As one might have guessed by now, he was caught by the black wizards... By the Wizard Gerhard Schwarzwald to be precise. This is where my beloved Marius lost his live. He got his blood sucked out by this monster." Her eyes filled with tears. "Just to gain some more years of his pathetic live..." Olav looked concerned. "And Angelica?" he asked. "Was she born by then?" Olav asked." She was barely a year old." Sybille answered, now tears streaming down her face. Olav remembered that time. He was seven years old. The council did not know what to do. They tried to capture and punish most black wizards back then. In the end their solution was to take all angels into their realm. They would get council exclusive jobs and houses inside their realm. This was the safest place and solution to keep peace. That is why angels are not heard of by the younger generations. The older generations who knew angels existed and did not work or were affiliated with the council got their memories of angels removed. Olav felt pain in his chest when he thought of the times back then. He lost friends and family to black wizards. He was thankful that he could be saved by the council. It was a win-win situation. Since Angels always were useful to work as investigators or at the court. They took every registered Angel in. This meant that no Angel was left living or working outside of the council's realm. "Then she met me." The alpha now continued for his luna. Since she appeared incapable of talking any more. "I found her; she feared she would lose her baby girl to the black wizards. Because she also had angel blood flowing through her veins. I took them in but didn't have a pack back then. As the son of an alpha, I thought the safest way to protect Sybille was to build a new pack and put it under special protection. We have strict rules and guidelines regarding violence and such things. Also, the territory is under a special spell, my friend, the witch Marlene, comes every year to renew the spell. It makes the territory invisible to everyone who does not know that it exists." The alpha continued. "It took a while until we figured out, we were second chance mates. But the first time Frank saw our Angelica, he was in love." Sybille added. "So, you decided to keep her heritage a secret. You never registered her that is why the council did not take her in." Olav said and the alpha and luna nodded their heads. "I couldn't let them take my child and have my memory wiped! Also, not the memory of Marius. I had a new mate, a new love but I could not bear the thought of forgetting about my first love. Marlene protected us with a spell when the council came to wipe our memories." Sybille said, as she was sobbing into her mate's shirt. "I understand luna." Olav said. He could feel her pain without even trying to see into her mind. "Do you know, what happens when a hybrid werewolf angel is born?" Olav asked. The luna shook her head. "It depends on which side is stronger in heritage. But usually, considering Angelica's case where the werewolf part is stronger, her angelic powers are only functioning as her guardian angel. This means she probably has situations where she can feel another person's feelings more intensive, or she can unknowingly change someone's feelings. But she cannot actively use her powers. This also means that her blood does not extend anyone's lifespan when consumed. But since angel hybrids are exceedingly rare, not a lot of people know about this." Olav clarified. "Luna Sybille, alpha Frank... Can I ask you to look at Angelica's back?" Olav asked politely. Both walked towards their daughter, pushing her gently to the side to see the scar and the now even bigger bumps on her back. "I believe she is transitioning. I cannot explain why or how this is happening. Since the presence of her wolf should suppress her angelic powers." Olav said, looking awfully concerned. "So, if she is transitioning. She can use her powers actively?" the alpha asked. "And her blood extends lifespans on consumption." Olav added.
