Charlie saw Cassy drifting off in dreamland when they both arrived late in the evening to the hospital. She had so much fun that she exhausted herself completely. Cora looked close to exhaustion herself and Charlie smiled at his girls.
"I take that it went well today," Charlie said taking Cora's palm into his.
"Better than what I expected," she smiled at Cassy's sleeping face. She looked way too adorable when she was fast asleep. "She's one of the nicest children I have ever met in my life and incredibly smart. I'm glad that I got to spend time with her today."
"Are you sure nothing major happened?" Charlie said brushing away the crumbs on Cassy's dress.
