Lisa, Charlie's mother came barging into his bedroom with wide eyed terror visible on her face. "Whoa! Isn't it a little too early to be waking me up, mom?" Charlie groaned, rubbing his eyes. She looked around the room and a look of dread settled on her face. "Charlie, I can't find Cassy," she said, her voice trembling. "I- I have looked everywhere. She's not there," she whimpered, looking truly old and vulnerable for once. Charlie shot out of bed. "What did you say?" He looked utterly confused. "Cassy is missing, Charlie," Lisa cried out, tears streaming down her face. "We've been looking for her for the past hour!" "What the hell?"
