Everyone in the room just stared at Cora quietly and she grew uncomfortable. What was going on? Why were people just staring at her? And... And why did they all look so different?
"Guys, what happened?" she asked meekly. "Is everything alright?" She asked and stepped towards them. "Wait, why doesn't my ankle hurt anymore? I swear I must have broken it! I still remember the pain like it happened seconds ago. Why aren't you saying something? And more importantly, where's Bridgette? Is she safe? How did I get rescued?"
"Cora?" Ethan called out to her. "Thank god you are awake! But... But you said your ankle broke?"
"Yeah! I jumped the huge wall at school to escape your goons. They must've been surprised, cuz I was too," she grinned. "Well, I'm glad that it didn't turn out to be a fracture
