Chapter 1

Trisha's pov

I sighed as i walked out of my mom's car

"Bye mom" i said to her

I looked around at my new school and sighed again, there were different kinds of groups both guys and girls

"Ok remember Trish no trouble this time, new school new attitude" i said to myself

Then i looked around searching for a particular familiar face but I couldn't find him anywhere, so i continued walking around and bumped into someone

"Hey watch where you going freak" the voice said accompanied by series of laughter

"What the hell" i said almost yelling

"Hey gurl" I heard a familiar voice say

"Yoo Xavier my man" i joked as i hugged him

Xavier is my childhood bestie

He hugged me back and i could feel intense stares on me

"You are popular here right i mean among the girls"

"I wouldn't put it that way but, maybe i am"he said and we both giggled

"Anyways popularity aside, welcome to East Brook high Trish " he added

"Thanks Xav"

"Come on let me show you to your class"

"Oh wait you were saying something before I called you, who were you talking to"

"Oh i accidentally bumped into someone and he called me a freak before I had the chance to even apologize"

"Don't worry about it, it must be Asher, "the king of assholes" and his clique derek and Ivan, ignore them" he said to comfort me

"Come on, you don't want to be late to class on your first day" he said and we walked inside together

I felt a little nervous when some girls kept throwing me piercing gazes but I felt a little better when Xavier wrapped his arm around my shoulders

"You go on ahead, i have to go fill some forms"

"Alright, catch you later Trish"

Back at the reception

"Hey excuse me, I'm Trisha Hodgman, the new transferee"

"Oh alright fill out this form, and here is your schedule for the day "the nice looking receptionist said

"Dang, she's hot" a guy's voice came from behind

"Should i go talk to her" another asked

"Nah, i'd rather you don't" the first guy spoke again

" Why "

"Cuz just a while ago, i saw her with Xavier Rutherford and they seemed pretty close " he explained

"Oh really " the other guy spoke

"We better not cross her"

I heard their exchange and decided to join in for a bit

I walked towards them and they probably noticed already

"Hey, she's walking towards us" one of the guys said

"Hey, I'm Trisha Hodgman" i said extending my hands towards them

"No way man, did she hear us " the other guy whispered but i heard loud and clear

"Oh i did, and I can still hear you right now "i said

"I didn't mean to eavesdrop but y'all are being too loud, if you want to whisper make sure no one hears you"

"Uhm...oh..Kay" they stammered and walked away

I found my way back to class and I think i was already late cuz was already there

"Excuse me, sorry I'm late "

"No problem Ms Hodgman" the teacher said and she gestured for me to stand next to her

Xavier was already there he winked at me and i smiled a little

"Ok Ms hodgman, can you introduce yourself to the class" the teacher said

"Ok, so hey y'all I'm Trisha Hodgman, nice to meet y'all"

I looked around and noticed i was the only girl standing there so i decided to ask the teacher

"Excuse me ma'am"

" You can call me Ms Winters"

"Alright so Ms Winters if I may ask where are all the girls"

"You aren't aware this is a special class, your parents paid for special classes for you and non of the other girls want to participate in this class" she explained and i was just like

Why are some girls so f****d up

"But who is the empty chair for"

"It belongs to a member of this class, oh look there he is" she said as she gestured to the guy who just entered the class

"Ms Hodgman, you can take a sit there in the center, Xavier will show you around after class"

"Ok Ms Winters" i said as i took my seat

"And Mr Cullen,where have you been if I may ask"

"You know, just somewhere or the other, enough about me, who is the little chipmunk here"

"Wait that voice, you were the one that called me a freak earlier"

"Oh you were the freak who bumped into me"

"It was an accident" i said but clearly he wasn't ready to listen

"Oh darling, you don't have to hide it, there are lots of girls who bump into me and blame it all on accident" he said with a smirk on his face oh how i wanted to wipe that smirk off his face

"Don't flatter yourself" i said

"Ok enough you two" the teacher said

And Asher, what would you say is wrong with your hand again" she asked as if that wasn't the first time he was getting into trouble

I looked at his hand and saw that it was bandaged

"Nothing, it's just a little cut" he said

"If you say so"she said

"Anyways, welcome back everyone and have a wonderful semester" she said

"Trisha i hope you enjoy your time at east Brook high"she said to me

I looked around and my eye met with the guy named Asher and he winked at me

"What the hell" i said making a somewhat disgusted face

He might look handsome if i do say so my self but I can tell he's got some rotten attitude

The teacher left the class after a while and i turned to Xavier

"Yoo Xav, you aren't on good terms with this guy are you " i asked

"Nah,we aren't really best buddies"

"Hey Xavier, i see you've got yourself a new chick right" Asher said

"Zip it Cullen" Xavier said sounding a little pissed

Asher raised his hand up as if surrendering to something

"Just saying bruh" he said

Merely looking at the atmosphere between these two guys

I can tell it's going to be a long semester ahead of me .
