"Gerald"
"Hey darling" he replied with a smile
I couldn't believe my eyes, my elder brother was standing right in front of me
Without thinking i wrapped my hands around his neck
"I missed you so much"
"Missed you too kiddo"
I totally forgot where i was standing
"Hey kiddo, we are at your school remember"
"Oh sorry, i totally forgot"
I waved at my new friends and got into the car

Gerald is my older brother, who is five years older than i am and currently he is 22 years, he is a tall handsome guy with grey eyes and black wavy hair
"Gerald, when did you get back, why didn't you tell me, why didn't Mom or dad tell me, wait does Aidan know too"
"Take it easy kiddo, i just arrived today"
"Anyways, I'm so happy you're back, I've got a lot to tell you about my new school,but first you've got to help me find a dress"
"A dress?, for what exactly", he asked with his attention on tge steering wheel"
"I got invited to a party"
"A party,by whom, where is it being held, at what time"
"Relax, one of Xavier's friend is throwing a party to celebrate his birthday "
"Is Xavier going to be there "
"Of course"
"Fine then I'll help you pick a dress, anything but a gown okay"he responded still paying rapt attention to the road
"Way ahead of you bro"
On our way home i narrated everything that happened to my brother and he couldn't stop laughing
"Come on, its not funny"
"Actually it is, so you already made more enemies than friends on just the first day"
"That's how it turned out to be"
At home
"Hey mom, I'm back"
"Welcome home darling, how was your first day" Mitchell, my mom inquired
"It was okay"
"You must be tired, go freshen up and come down to eat"
"Okay mom be right back"
I went upstairs and dropped my bag on my table, i took a bath and went downstairs where Gerald and mom were busy chatting
"Mom did you know your daughter got invited to a party" Gerald stated Laying emphasis on the "invited"
"A party"
" Yes mom, Xavier invited me to a party can I join him please, pretty please"
"Alright, you can, but be back before curfew "
"Thanks mom"
"Ok so you promised to help me pick a dress"
I walked up tomorrow and my brother walked in right after me, he opened the closet and exclaimed
"What is it"
"Your cloth set"
"What about it" I asked since he kept beating about the bush
"It's huge, how can you find nothing to wear in here"
"These are occasional clothes"
He then brought out a black trouser and a shirt
"Here wear this"he suggested handing the clothes over to me
"But it's going to be chilly outside"
"Hold on a minute" he said as he went outside and came back holding a Jacket in his hands
"Wear this over it,it will keep you warm"
"Ohh, thanks bro"
"You're welcome kiddo" he responded patting my head
Since i still had time i decided to take a little nap, i laid on my bed twirling and turning but i couldn't fall asleep
I brought out a note from my bag and decided to scribble anything, till i ended up writing what had happened in school today
Few hours passed and I checked the time and it was already passed 8
"How time flies, Xavier will be here soon"
I decided to take a shower before i leave

I came out of the bathroom and dressed in the clothes Gerald chose for me, after I finished dressing, my younger brother came in
"Sis you going somewhere" Aidan my younger asked
"Yeah, I'll be back before curfew"
"Alright,take care"

Aidan is my 13 year old younger, a little taller than i am and has a deep brown hair and brown eyes and is currently in middle school
Few minutes to nine, i was done dressing and went out
"I'll be leaving soon" i announced as i got downstairs
"Where do you think you are going with that nest on your head"
"Does it look that bad"
"It's not bad"
"Really"
"Yeah, its horrible"
"Seriously, mom is not here she style he hair for me" i said slumping on the couch like a big bag of flour
"Come on,sit here"Gerald said as he picked up my brush from the table
"What are you doing" i asked with a confused expression on my face
"Just wait" he said and continued doing whatever he was doing
"All done" he said few minutes after
I looked into the mirror and saw my hair styles in two pigtails
"It looks so nice, thanks"
Few minutes later we heard a knock on the door
"That must be Xavier, I'll get going now"
"I'll come pick you up by 12 okay"
"Kay be good boys," i said as i went out of the house
Outside the house
"Wow, you look stunning"Xavier complimented as i walked towards him
"I know"i joked "Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself "
"Thanks" he replied" shall we go"
"Yeah let's go"
