Chapter 5

Sebastian Mallon was bewildered and stunned at who he saw at the conference hall.

At first, Sebastian couldn't tell if she was the one sitting opposite him right now. She looked different and eye-catching.

He could see how beautiful she looked in her light pink suit made of fabrics he was familiar with.

" Jeez! " He muttered, focusing more on her. Sebastian didn't know why he was admiring her. After all, she was just like every other woman out there.

He had thought about her earlier today and now she was sitting dominantly right before his eyes.

Glaring at her thin heart-shaped lips, they were all pinky; looking ravishing and devouring. This made him suddenly long for a kiss.

Her eyes were as bright as the shining night moon that gives light to the earth. Although far away, Sebastian could see them glister.

Sebastian Mallon had never been attracted to a woman since he was born.

Women, he had seen a whole lot of them; classy and sophisticated; pretty and confident but he paid them no attention.

Sebastian was a workaholic and had always worked hard. He had no time to see a woman for what she was.

However, seeing the goddess sitting elegantly before him right now made him wanna try something new.

As the meeting proceeded, Sebastian still couldn't fight his feelings. He was distracted and wanted her thrown out of the conference hall. But somehow, he felt differently about her.

This was beyond feeling pathetic at the moment. He knew nothing about love and couldn't tell if it was love either.

Why would he fall for a low life like her in the first place?

If he had wanted a woman, it was certainly not gonna be her type; yet, he couldn't suppress what he was feeling inside of him as a part of him was stolen for real.

" s**t! " he scored again feeling dismayed.

The summit was for business owners, not sales reps so why was she there?

She must be insane, he guessed!

His eyes met with hers as was about to go on stage and he quickly looked away.

" Oh my goodness, he is made from Heaven," Alexa said, as the handsome man was introduced to the stage.

She was stunned to have met him again after the incident that transpired between herself and Mrs. Watton.

Gosh! She was lucky to have come with her director for the summit. Alexa never wanted to. However, the director, James Jack, of F&B mobile implored her earlier to go with him.

Jack James knew how brainy and smart Alexa was when it comes to business meeting deals.

As Sebastian mallon approached the stage and stood before the eminent business men and women, the crowd stood up cheering him with a warm applause. To them, he was a god in the human body.

" He is the CEO of Valley City" James Jack whispered in Alexa's ears as they cheered the boss and Sebastian's eyes caught up with them. He snorted and looked away swiftly, feeling enraged.

The crowd had a clue as to why Sebastian anomalously beamed but they cheered him up regardless.

Alexa Morgan could feel her heart racing as Sebastian birthed to small business owners, an insightful and innovative way to becoming multi-billionaires.

She had no idea how brainy, intellectual and innovative Sebastian Morgan was. If they were to be compared, she was but a neophyte and needed schooling.

His creativity and ideas were top notch. He was more than just a boss. He was a 'god'.

However, Seeing a mentally keen person like Sebastian Morgan made Alexa want to give love a chance. She had been love starved and didn't enjoy a bit of it in her past relationship.

" He is such a genius," Jack James said, clapping his hands gently as Sebastian finished his long lectures.

"... He is," Alexa said gapshing for air. She wasn't sure if she listened to everything Sebastian taught. Her attention was focused more on how handsome and intelligent he was.

Sebastian seemed somewhat a cool guy to her. His deep baritone and commanding voice set her whole body on fire.

At 5: 30 pm, the summit came to an end.

Many business owners rushed down to immediately the summit demanding his partnership but his men interrupted them.

However, James Jack, the director of F&B mobile was willing to accost the CEO himself by booking an appointment with him some other time.

" Let's go" he said calmly to Alexa who sat perturbed sipping her water slowly.

" What? " Alexa jerked abruptly, almost spilling the water on her body.

Her attention was fixed on the handsome man.

She wanted to meet with him just to thank him for saving her life the other time. But no. She wanted something different.

" Are you okay? " the director asked.

Alexa smiled and affirmed," I'm okay sir" and looked away.

She never wanted to leave. She could see the handsome man chatting heartily to the some important and well-known CEOs of great companies that can learn and become better.

Alexa's patient was running out.

" Get the car ready" Jack James said to his driver on phone and then turned towards Akexa and said," we should get going now miss Alexa"

" Okay! " Alexa smiled, bending to the ground, pretending to buckle her high-heeled shoe.

There were still lots of people in the crowd all wanting to speak with the boss.

" Damn it! " Alexa fumed angrily, trying hard to delay her boss a bit.

She examined the buckle carefully and pulled it off intentionally.

" Perfect" she smiled to herself : having her head still lowered to the ground in pretense.

" Miss Morgan, " the director called out to her.

" Yes sir! Alexa replied, trying to raise her head up. But this time around, her long blonde hair covered her face already.

As Alexa lifted up head slowly, she was shocked to have seen the handsome man standing In front of her with some of his men and other business partners.

" Hi "

Sebastian Mallon said, stretching a hand to James Jack while his eyes were fixed directly on Alexa.

However, his gaze suddenly made Alexa Morgan's to fall sparodically.
