Something was up. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but something just felt off. When Natasha came back from her meeting with Alpha Alexander, she’d been sad and distracted. It had taken far more effort on my part to interest her in s*x and that was a giant red flag. My baby and I both had voracious appetites, but hers typically outpaced mine and I had difficulty keeping up. There had to be something seriously wrong for her to show little to no interest. I was worried.
When the guys and Izzy showed up, I noticed a bit of tension between Seth and Nat and wondered if that could be it. So, I opened a channel to her while we sat around the table in the bunker common area and chowed down on pizza.
