Two seconds. I had turned my back on the pitch for two seconds and in that incredibly short span of time, Natasha had disappeared. Harmony was going to kill me if she found out about the party. After making sure that she had, in fact, left the pitch, I opened a channel to her.
Nat. Babe, where’d you go?
The contractor needs to see me at the packhouse.
NO! I mean… Adam already went to take care of that. I need you to come with me.
Okay, why?
Because you and I are going on a date.
A date?
A date. You know, a romantic outing with your significant other. Most people have those before committing. We kind of skipped over that part.
I know what a date is, smart ass. You just took me by surprise. Where are we going?
Nuh-uh. It’s a surprise. Meet me back at the cabin.
