I have been hearing rumors about my wedding with Kate and I knew the rumors did not start without my mother and Kate being involved. A few elders congratulated me during meetings while others gave me approving smiles. At first, I was worried about the rumor becoming real but decided to ignore it, since my mom had not said anything to me yet.
"It's a good thing the Alpha is finally settling down" I heard one of the elders whisper to another at one of our meetings.
"I think so too. We will be getting the heir to the pack soon and we can put our minds at rest"
"I do not know our meetings are now for cheap gossip" I answered.
"We are sorry, Alpha. We are just very happy you are finally getting married" one of the elders said.
I groaned slightly."I am not getting married" I mutte
