A Mother Before A Mate

Little Wolfie

I wake up to the sound of crying, i look around the room till a cot under a window comes into my view, everything comes crashing down the r**e, going into labour, having my baby. I quickly get out of bed and walk over of the cot, i gently pick up my little baby girl and she instantly stops crying. " Hey baby girl, its okay, mommy's here, no one will ever hurt you while mommy is here". She slowly drifts off to sleep in my arms, I walk over to my bed and lay down with her curled up on my chest. I dont think ive named her yet, i remember passing out before i could. " Emery, what do you think we should name our little girl?" " Lila" " Lila?" " She's a very special wolf Lily, she deserves a very special name" " Your right Emery, as always" i hear my wolf chuckle in my head, " Emery, do you think our mate will accept Lila?" " If they don't then we'll have to reject them, Lila is our little girl, we had her before them" i hear Emery whine at the thought of losing her mate's even though she belived what she said.

* 10 minutes later *

I hear a door click and look up, a nurse pokes her head around the door to see if i was awake, when she saw i was awake she walked into the room with a clipboard " Ready to name your baby Lily?" " Yes, her name is Lila" the doctor writes my little girl's name on the clipboard, she then ask's " May i ask who the father is? I need him to sigh the birth certificate aswell", 5 seconds after she says this my best friend Josh comes in " Hey baby, i went to buy some baby stuff for our little girl, i'm going to spoil her rotten" he then turns to the nurse and goes to shake her hand, while i give him a weird look, the nurse looks back at me and i smile, behind the nurses back he mouthes " Play along" i give a small little nod. " So is this the father?" the nurse asks and i give the nurse a nod and say " Yea, i know were alittle young but she happened and i couldnt be more gratful". The nurse nods and says " Can you both sign her birth certificate please". The nurse hands me a pen and i sigh the birth certificate and then Josh does, " You will be released later today" " Thank you, i hope you have a good day" . The nurse then proceds to leave the room, once she left i turned to my best friend and yelled " WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" " I was helping you, your little girl needs a dad and i steped up to the plate, plus ide be a great pretend dad, dont you think?" Josh the strikes a pose and i grab one of the pillows behind me and threw it at him, he fell to the floor and i start laughing at him . He gets up and stands next to me, looking at my little Lila " So whats her name?" " Lila" " Thats a beautiful name, perfect for your little wolfie" " Thanks Josh, whoever turns out to be your mate will be a very lucky wolf" " So will yours Lils" " Theres a chance i dont get to experience that Josh, if he dosent accept my little wolf, then i wont accept him, it's that simple, ide do anything for her, even lose my mate" " You'll be a great mother Lils, i just know it" " Thanks Josh, i hope so, ide do anything to protect my little wolfie".
