“They’ll be here.” The man who spoke had blue eyes and very blond hair. “Gentlemen. If you’ll have a seat?” He was also shorter than almost everyone in the room, including the young woman, and he appeared to be in his middle forties. “I’m Tom Weber. Jack Jackson was my partner.” “I’m sorry for your loss,” I murmured. “Thank you. Let me introduce the rest of the family,” Weber said, indicating the three younger people. “These are the children of my heart. Becca, her brother Tad, and his husband Rush. And this is Tim Reddy, who owns the Always Ready Pub, and his partner Cris.” Reddy was the one who could have passed as Weber’s brother.
