That was how today was going. It was worse than the other day when I kept zoning out. I was disturbed. Not coming to school the day before didn't also help matters. I was a little lost during Trig. I just stared at Mrs. Martinez.
I'd gotten home at 5:30am the previous day, my eyes heavy and my body aching and just as I'd promised myself the day before yesterday, when Bambi and Ryan came to pick me up, I'd told them firmly that I had no intentions of going to school, and they'd let me. To make things even worse, Tanner's not in school today.
