Assassination?Randa had made a decision. She had hardly slept all night worrying, but had now decided where her duty lay. She had no idea what Wolnarb could do with his magic, but persuasion seemed a reasonable thing. She had also decided that she believed Carthinal that this man was indeed Branlow, far-fetched as this seemed. She had therefore decided that Carthinal was right and that she should try to regain her Sword and use it to kill Wolnarb.
When Carthinal visited her she had told him of her decision. He seemed grateful that she had decided as he wished, and also as he thought was right and he went away with a slightly lighter heart. There was still a lot to be sorted out. If she succeeded in killing The Master, then they would have to make a quick getaway and also free
