AnswersCarthinal sat on the window seat in his apartment, looking down over the town. In reality, he was not seeing much of what lay below him. He was thinking hard about Wolnarb. Was the man in fact the mysterious mage, Branlow? What did he really want of them, to make the offers he had? Truly, as a magister of great power, he could offer Carthinal much in the way of training, which was tempting, but Carthinal could not but think that the man had ulterior motives for his offers.
