Chapter 14
RandaRanda sat in the window seat in the suite of rooms that Wolnarb had assigned to her. This room was light and airy, with two windows, one looking to the south and the other to the east. Both windows were glazed, and in the heat of the summer afternoon, Randa had opened them. Now she was looking down into a small garden. She must ask Wolnarb if she could go down there. She missed the gardens at the Palace in Hambara. The roses would be in full bloom now. A knock came at the door.
'Come in,' she called, pleased at an interruption to her reverie. She was beginning to get a little bored for all the luxury Wolnarb had heaped on her.
The door opened to reveal Wolnarb and a group of people behind him. He stepped through the door and indicated the people.
