Chapter 15
TeacherCarthinal began his new job by trying to get to know the apprentices better. He put on a clean robe, a grey one. He did not want to appear too flamboyant in front of what were to be his pupils, although he much preferred his blue ones. He grimaced as he looked into the mirror in his rooms. He looked drab!
Descending the stairs to the common room, Carthinal wondered if he should send for Yssa and Starr. After all, he was not intending to stay here indefinitely, but he felt he could not leave them for too long. Starr would not know him and he had already missed much of her growing up.
