Chapter 9 LuxuryThe prisoners sat in the dark prison, each alone with their own thoughts. They had no idea how long they had been there when they heard footsteps coming towards the door. By his hunger and thirst, Carthinal deduced they must have been locked away for over a day. He hoped this was someone bringing them water and food rather than demanding answers to questions.
