ForwardI intended this and the next book to be one volume, but it began to be rather unwieldy and so I have split it into two.

In this volume, the Wolf Pack is split and we follow one half. The other half we will meet again in the next volume.

It begins with all the Pack together, journeying across Grosmer then follows Carthinal and his half of the Pack. The next volume will begin where the Pack splits and will end when they are re-united.

There are four appendices at the back of the book to help the reader with such things as how the time is worked out on Vimar, Religion, Magic and a bit about the languages.
