“Father is signalling us closer,” Mawana told Linh, Lenaris and Fiona, as a pair of Urai carried Mocco off to join Troy and Michael in the cabin and the ship sailed nearer the mainland.
“We won’t be involved in any more fighting?” Linh asked.
Mawana shook his head. “Flariah gave strict orders that none of our ships is to make landfall. We are simply to guard the western ships until the end of the battle, so no one on land can swim out to them and sail away.”

“It sounds like she wants to capture everything,” Mawana replied. “Though I cannot imagine how she plans to contain the damars. I have only once encountered creatures so savage.”
