SEVEN We lingered in bed long after the morning's light filtered through the curtains, then took our time getting dressed before heading down for breakfast. After we'd explored the few quaint shops the village contained, chatting with the owners, gathering countless suggestions for how to spend our afternoon. Ultimately, we settled on venturing into the woods, hoping to find the waterfall the locals promised was at peak flow this time of year. It had been a good hike, deep into the woods, but as promised, entirely worth it. The falls cascaded down a steep cliff face into a pool at its base, where the mist created little rainbows in the air.
