Mathew starts to hyperventilate, not being able to control his respiration. He rushes towards Summer as he snatched the picture out of her hand. Summer stands still smiling, she wasn't shocked watching his strange reaction, since nothing seems to scare her. '' I don't want you to touch my belongings. '' He says but slowly his voice lowers seeing Summer standing so bravely. He crosses his arms acting more serious which is usually out of his capability. '' My aunt will be coming any time soon. '' He says to her but the words were actually for himself, to calm his own nerves down. He steps back relaxing to sit on the couch. Summer still had her position stuck. '' I am sorry for yelling at you.'' He says not being able to meet her eyes. '' I just... '' he sighs. He couldn't finish his sentence. '' It's okay'' Summer says softly. The main purpose for her to bring up his family was to check his level of temper. Summer sat beside him as she moved closer stiffening Mathew a bit. '' Hope you are not mad at me for asking something I shouldn't have. '' She releases the sentence as Mathew already forgave her. He shook his head shyly. '' So, you wanna play something Matt? '' He looks aside looking at her bewildered, '' Like what? '' She rose up from her sit looking for something. She founds the candles on the shelf as she smirks glancing back at Mathew. '' Do you wanna summon the devil? '' As soon as Mathew heard it he started shaking a bit. '' The devil? '' His voices quaked . '' Yeah. '' She replies as she spins herself around dreamingly. '' You know what they say, you can ask for anything if you summon the devil. '' '' But what if something bad happens? '' Mathew questions curiously with a husky tone . '' Come on Matt! '' her voice had this thirst for adventure. '' Aren't you willing to get everything you want? '' the word 'everything' encourages Mathew for a second. '' Think about it Matt. You can make any type of wish come true. May it be evil, may it be not. '' Mathew thought for a minute. His guts was telling him that it also might be just a stupid game. So, he agrees to explore the unknown mystery coming ahead. '' Okay. '' His opinion brings an enjoyment in Summer's smile as it grew bigger. She walked to the candles grabbing them in her palm as she held Matthew's hand suddenly taking him upstairs in his room. '' What are you doing? '' Mathew asks scared when Summer tried to lock the door. She moved back her hands from the door knob. '' What if your aunt comes? '' '' It's fine we will already know through the bell. '' Mathew replies clumsily. '' Okay fine.. Scaredy-cat. '' She says teasing him as she knelt down on the floor. '' What are you waiting for? '' She asks annoyed waiting for Mathew to join in. Mathew exhales trying to push that air of fright out of his lungs. He follows her orders as he sat down smoothly. Summer lits up the candle placing it in the middle of space between them. Seeing the sign of terror colored on his face she smiles in amusement. '' So, you ready? '' she asked Mathew as he shook his head the second time. Before he says it in his head a storm incoming brushes off the environment terrifying Mathew . The windows closes and opens automatically . The curtains were flying by itself. Mathew eyes falls on the candle as it was fighting to survive. Summer isn't scared of the unsafe behavior of the wind. Her smile never left her face. Even when the candle stopped fighting. The room filled with darkness as Mathew shouted, '' What's happening? '' His voice could barely be listened though the strong wave of thunder. Summer couldn't be heard anymore. Finding no answer Mathew stood up on his knees as he tried to look for the switch to turn on the lights. His handed landed on it and instantly the room lit up. The wind became calm again gaining its normal position. But, something was off. His eyes focused on the ground as he realized Summer was gone.
