In Alpha's office

Raven's Pov As the i***t said and you will have already figured out, I am an Omega. My name is Raven Galahad, I belong to the Autumn pack, and I won't bow to anyone, Alpha or not. In our pack, Omegas do not get mistreated. Young omegas like me can join the training if we want, but are not obligated to do it, since we do not have a wolf and fighting would be more dangerous for us. When we graduate, we can do almost any work we want with some exceptions. My dad, even though an Omega, was an excellent warrior with a huge build but did not choose to follow that path. He is a good friend of Alpha Bairo, who begged my dad a million times to become a warrior and join his army. He even promised him a title, but my dad still refused. Despite the fact he is quite hot-tempered as a person, he doesn't like killing. He will only join the army if it is necessary. Now, he works as a blacksmith since creating is his passion. My mother is the representative of Omegas. The Alpha wanted to appoint her to look at the welfare of all the pack members since she is very good at her job, but because of her ranking, there were some objections from other pack members and my mum did not want to cause a commotion, so she said to the Alpha that it would be better if things stayed as they were. She was sad at first, but if you want my opinion, it is better that way, it was only more work for my angel! Our life in the pack is okay, as for me I do not have to work, since I have not graduated yet and, of course, I do not join the training... I do not want to kill someone accidentally... I am kidding, I just prefer to train alone. I was not always as I am now. Everything changed when I met that person, and no, it isn't another cheesy love story... but we will come to this later. Now, I have to go to Alpha's office. Of course, he wouldn't ask me, since he knew I was going to find an excuse to avoid going, so instead, he asked my mother... I am telling you this old man is quite mischievous! "My greetings, Alpha, did you ask for me?" "Did I not tell you to call me uncle enough with the formalities!" "Forgive me, my lord, but I can not do this. My position does not permit it." I said as I was trying, with all my mind, not to laugh. " Hahaha, so now you remember your position. Where was that five years ago, when you asked me that favor?" "Reward." "What?" "It was a reward, your majesty, not a favor," I said, and he looked at me with surprise for a moment. "Hahaha! Look at this cheeky little brat, still the same all these years! Hahaha, saying you majesty with all the sarcasm you could master! Well, if our sweet Eve was not my son's girlfriend, I was even going to beg him to accept you as his Luna." The expression I had on my face when he said that, should have been a mix of disgust and doubt about his sanity, but that did not seem to affect him, and he continued to laugh. I guess someone not wanting to marry his son, the future Alpha, was quite amusing to him. Me as a Luna, now, that would be a sight... There is already a queue for people who want a miserable life with Aaron, and I am not planning to join... I guess he still does not know that his son has found his mate, but it is not my place to tell him that. Well, you deserve it, old man, for making fun of me. "Enough, Bairo, can't you see that you are frightening her with your jokes?" An old but sturdy man said as he got inside the office. "Grandpa Torin!!" the man who changed my life. "Ha, so you can call my father, grandpa, but you can't call me, uncle, huh, young lady?" "Well, your Highness, you should choose if you want me as your nephew or your daughter-in-law first." "Hahaha, you never cease to amuse me, Raven! I am thinking of getting you a job here in my office so you can make my day like this every day!" he said and continued laughing. " Please do not say such scary things, your Highness," I said, and both Alpha Bairo and Grandpa Thorin laughed. I do not know what these people find so funny, but I am serious. I would prefer one year in the dungeon than work with him here in the office. I have done a couple of jobs for him over the years, but mostly working outside, this man knows how to get on my nerves, so I avoid spending time with him. It is like having a second father, and believe me, one is enough. "So... Your Highness, if I made you happy enough, can I excuse myself now?" I said, clearing my throat. "Very well, young lady, you are free to go, for TODAY." He said, emphasizing the word today. Seriously, this man! He is like a family though, so I can not hate him, even if I wanted to. "Thank you, your majesty..." I opened the door and just before I get out, I turned my head with a smirk on my face and said, "Oh, and your majesty, it is not your son you would have to beg but someone else," and then left, hearing laughs behind me.
