Chapter two
It was the end of their shift and the girls were so happy and also tired cause of the loads of work they did.
"see you girls on Monday" Sarah said as she carried her bag and walked away. It is Anna's time to lock the shop
"Belle, are you ready" Maria said as Isabelle picked up her bag and walked towards Maria
"wait where is Anna?" Maria asked as her eyes roamed round the shop looking for Anna.
Her eyes landed on Anna who sat at one corner, her phone pressed on her ears, Maria signalled Belle and they both sneaked behind Anna.
They didn't hear the whole conversation only the last one
"8:30, fine I'll see you soon" she said as she hung up the call, she looked over her shoulders and jumped up in fright.
"you scared the christ out of me, jeez what was that" she said, her hand placed on her chest
"cut it out, tell us who you were you taking to" Belle asked with a sly smile
"it's nobody, just let's go home" Anna said as she adjusted the straps of her handbag.
Maria looked at her phone and without thinking twice, she snatched the phone from her hand and dashed out of the restaurant
"Mariana Mcclaire, give me my phone" Anna said as she immediately ran after her.
Maria ran as fast as she could, her adrenalin pumped through her vein as she saw her getting closer, it made her run faster.
Maria stopped as she turned to look at Anna who also stopped and was panting hard
"come on Anna, you know you can't hide your secrets from us" she said as she quickly glanced through the phone. The name Brian popped on the screen.
"ooh who is Brian?" Maria said as she smiled at her and Anna smiled.
"so you have a boyfriend and you didn't tell us, gosh that's so painful" Maria said
"can you give me my phone please" Anna said and Belle walked behind us
She shakes her head as she walked towards them giving them a 'seriously' look
"gosh what is wrong with you two, behaving like kids and running round the street like cave men" Belle said
She noticed Anna looking at maria with a serious face, she was folding her arms
"What's going on" she said as she walked towards her sister
"Well, Anna has a boyfriend and she didn't tell us, isn't it painful" Maria said
"well it is, tell us who's He" Belle said with a smile
"Brian that's his name, right" Maria said as she used her shoulder to her hers.
"just stop" she said as she collected her phone with a blush
"oooooo someone's in love" Belle said as she held the key to the restaurant, due to the running which made Anna neglect her duty of closing the restaurant, if not for Isabelle god knows what will happen
"thanks" Maria gave her a sheephish smile.
"so what's happenening 8:30" Belle asked as she placed the key in her bag
"well, he invited us to a late night party to get to know each other" Anna said
"Ugh I think I'm going to pass" Belle said as they all walked to their house.
In the house.
As they were about to enter the house, a very large rat ran across them, making all of them run inside the house screaming.
"god, I hate when this happens" Belle said with an irritated look.
Maria checked the time and it was 7:30
"I'm going to take shower, it's 7:30 already" Maria said as she walked away, Belle was in the kitchen warming the left over sandwiches.
While Maria was in the bathroom, Anna was styling her hair, she packed it in a very neat bun and she let some strands fall over her face
Maria came out of the bathroom, she walked Into the room to find the dress on the bed, she was sure Anna brought it out for her.
Anna slipped Into the bathroom to take her shower too while belle was in the living room reading a book and chewing on her sandwich
Maria was wearing a black spaghetti strap dress, it was tight form the waist side and flay down to her knees, she wore black shoes. She packed her hair in a ponytail.
Anna wore a whine long dress, it has a very long slit with black belt, she wore black heels. She applied little makeup on her face.
"wow Maria you look hot, let me do your makeup " Belle said and maria frowned but she allowed her to do it.
She applied small amount of eyeliner and mascara and a nude color lip gloss that smells like candy, Maria stood up and checked herself in the mirror, she was indeed looking sunny.
They didn't have much but at least they don't look that bad, they don't go out much but they have few decent clothes which could make them feel good about themselves
"you girls look very beautiful and stunning" Belle said and as she said that, Anna's phone rang and she picked it, seconds later she hung up.
"the ride is outside" Anna said and belle stood up
"Be safe girls" she said as she gave them soft kiss on their foreheads
Maria took her phone and some cash which she placed in her bag, then they both exited the building.
They went downstairs into the parking lot and saw no car only the pick up truck that belongs to the maintenance guy.
a car horn and they saw headlight approaching them , they squinted their eyes as it got closer,before the driver dimmed the light, their mouth flung open in awe
"holy Mary mother of Jesus" Anna exclaimed as she saw what was in front of her.
"couldn't have said it better myself" Maria said as she saw the driver come out of the car
They were having a ride in a freaking limousine.
