Kaida POV         The man stared at me in disbelief and shock, his eyes questioning whether or not he had actually heard me properly. Not wanting to face him, I lowered my head in shame. I half expected him to call me a liar, or ridicule me for suggesting such a thing but he didn’t. Instead, he stared at me expectantly, waiting for me to elaborate on my statement. I took a hesitant breath, unsure whether or not I should tell him everything. Nikita gently nudged at the wall of my mind in a comforting manner.      I sense no ill will from him.
