“Please” a weak voice called out “please help me” the voice whimpered out, begging. The poor girls' pleas were quickly followed by a loud snapping sound that made my stomach turn, her agonized screaming ringing in my ears. I turn to face the small girl, gasping in horror as I clasp my hands over my mouth to snuff out my own horrified voice. The small woman lay on the ground beaten and battered, claw marks running down her back. Her now broken arms protruded unnaturally as did her legs. Kane stood over her, snarling, claws extended, cutting into her back once more. I don’t know what she had done to incur his wrath but every fiber in my body screamed at me to stop this, to protect her.
