After the confrontational argument with Kane, I found myself walking near the pack borders at the forest’s edge, contemplating his words, trying to discern their meaning. Maybe I could ask Seth if he knew anything about it, he was a lot more open and willing to help. Plus, as the pack doctor, he should know whether Kane’s words held any validity or not. The sun had stared to set and I could see the light of the moon peeking through the darkened sky.
I stopped to admire its gentle beauty, wondering if the Goddess was watching down on us from where she reigned. Probably not, this pack was just one of many amongst her children. And if she held any interest and observing one lone wolf pack, we would probably be the furthest from her attention since she pretty much disown
