That’s why we were on the run, trying to escape the Alpha’s son. The council had prevented him from exacting revenge for his friend's death, but their protection only lasted until our first shift. He had planned on killing us the moment we shifted so... we ran.”
Seth and Kane both let out menacing growls, displeased with Brone’s actions. I expected as much from Seth, in the short time I had interacted with him I could already tell he was someone I could trust. Caring and protecting came as naturally to him as did breathing, but Kane’s reaction took me by complete surprise.
