The day got a whole lot worse by evening time. She had figured that a lot of people would be curious about her return and would like to grace the occasion if only to find something to gossip about, but she hadn't expected these many people to show up
The prince was here, she couldn't possibly miss the way his eyes bore holes into her. There was Julianna, Xander, Winter, and their whole family present, they also stared at her. She was still a bit confused about the presence of Lionel though, would he come from his kingdom to attend this stupid Ball? What revoked Alex the most however was Lien, he was sited at the far corner of the hall where he was barely noticeable. Alex wouldn't have been able to even make him out in the crowd if only Rachel hadn't gone over to speak to him.
