Isla, the head priestess and one of the most powerful witches of Colchis was happy to give her husband the great news about her pregnancy.
Out of joy and excitement, her husband rushed off to his family, wanting to share the good news.
Isla waited for him earnestly but he never returned and she left the house, using his scent to track him.
She was devastated to find him in a pool of blood, no one was aware of how or what had happened or no one wanted to tell her the truth according to her.
She found the royal crest beside him, the only evidence which was useless as she couldn’t confront them.
There and then, her once beautiful and pure heart turned dark, the vast love she had for Colchis vanished and all that filled her head was hatred and revenge.
