I was waiting for her palm to touch my cheek when I looked at her frozen face, I raised my head to see a masculine hand holding hers.
“Ni... Ni... Nikolas” She stuttered, her pale face mortified and he released her hand, not so gently.
He had a cold look on his face, her face softened while I just stared at his facial expression.
“What is wrong?” He inquired, looking at Julia.
“She was being so rude to me and I decided to discipline her”
“You were the one who came after me!” I retorted.
“Shut up!” He thundered and I closed my mouth with tears stinging my eyes.
“She has always been rude ever since I’ve been visiting you,” Julia added.
“You wanted to slap her?” He demanded.
“Yes,” She answered.
“Who gave you the right to slap my maid?” He demanded and I raised my head with shock.
