“Hello mom” Jace greeted his mom with a hug.
“How have you been my darling child?” Irene patted his hair, treating him in a fragile way.
She watched him with pride, he was all she had and she would do everything to please him.
“I’ve been doing great,” He replied, fidgeting.
“Do you need anything, my child?” Irene requested, pulling him to sit beside her and he nodded.
“I need something but having it is almost impossible” Jace replied and Irene scoffed.
