"Did you sleep well?" Blane asked from the moment Knight got up from bed. The alpha sighed and nodded his head.
"Here's your coffee," said Blane, placing the cup of coffee on the nightstand.
"Thanks, babe," he smiled, "Where's your dad, anyway?"
"He's downstairs. He was talking to the investigators. They said they haven't had suspect yet,"
Knight slowly nodded at the response and pulled Blane to him, "thank you for being here with me,"
The omega hugged him and said, "Of course. We're together in it, right?"
Knight kissed Blane's temple and spent the time together inside the room. It was cozy and nice but at the same time, Knight can't help but to grieve for his father's loss. He had no idea that his father would be killed by someone he didn't know.
