Chapter 32 Siren
We finally made it back to the compound but something was a bit off. The place felt a bit too quiet as we approached the landing area. No one was around to welcome us back when the vehicle landed either. No response from mission control or even a signal from Nex. Olley landed the ship down slowly to make sure nobody would think it's an attack. However, we didn't want to leave just yet. Something was clearly wrong. I clutched the recording in my hand thinking they might have found us out. Placing it in my pockets for sake keeping, we jumped out leaving the vehicle still running.
