After Alpha Jackson left my restaurant, I was filled with nostalgia and apprehension.
I knew from my investigations that Phoenix had taken off, headed toward the Blue Moon Pack. I'd spent months tracking her movements, and finally, I had something—but I wasn't glad.
All it meant was that I had to go back to my former pack.
I couldn't bear to do that.
